Char Dham
Badrinath in the north, Dwarka in the west, Puri in the east and Rameswaram in the south. The Himalayan Chota Char Dham is a separate circuit.
The four dhams
- Badrinath — Vishnu as Badrinarayan (Uttarakhand)
- Dwarka — Krishna as Dwarkadhish (Gujarat)
- Puri — Jagannath (Odisha)
- Rameswaram — Ramanathaswamy (Tamil Nadu)
Chota Char Dham
In Uttarakhand: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, usually visited west to east between May and November.
