How to Book a Pandit Online

Booking a pandit online takes a few minutes if you know what to check: a verified pandit who speaks your language, a price fixed before you pay, a clear plan for the samagri, and a way to reach the pandit on the day. This guide covers each step, the costs, and when to choose a pandit at home, a live video puja or a puja at a temple.

  • Pandits checked by our team
  • Live tracking on the day
  • Arrival & completion codes

What to check before you book

  • Verification: is the pandit’s identity checked (Stuti Mandir checks every pandit’s Aadhaar)?
  • Language and tradition: will the sankalp be explained in your language, in your family’s sampradaya?
  • Price: is the full dakshina fixed before you pay, with nothing asked extra at the door?
  • Samagri: will you get the list in time, and what does the pandit bring?
  • The day itself: can you see where the pandit is, and confirm arrival and completion?
  • Muhurat: does the date and time suit the ritual — and can you ask a pandit if unsure?

Questions devotees ask us

What is the best way to book a pandit online in India?

Use a service that shows the pandit’s verification, the full price before you pay, the language of the sankalp, and how you can reach them on the day. On Stuti Mandir (stutimandir.com) every pandit’s Aadhaar is checked, the dakshina is fixed upfront, the nearest available pandit is chosen for you, and you track them live with OTP codes at arrival and completion.

How much should I pay a pandit for a puja at home?

It depends on the ritual and its length: Griha Pravesh Pooja from ₹7,100, Satyanarayana Pooja from ₹3,100, Ganesh Pooja from ₹2,100, Rudrabhishekam from ₹3,100. The pooja price list has every ritual; live video pujas cost ₹200 less where offered.

How many days before should I book a pandit?

Book as soon as you have the muhurat — a week ahead is comfortable, and two to three weeks for griha pravesh, weddings and big homams in the wedding season. Short-notice bookings are possible when a pandit is free; express booking prioritises them for a small fee.

Does the pandit bring the samagri?

Usually no. The pandit shares the samagri list after booking and the family arranges it; for homams some pandits bring items such as samidha and the homa kundam.

Can a pandit do the puja online on a video call?

Yes, for many pujas: the pandit performs the full vidhi and takes your family’s names, gotra and nakshatra in the sankalp on a live video call. It suits families abroad and parents in another city.

What if the pandit doesn’t turn up?

You can see the pandit’s live location on the day, and support is on WhatsApp from 6 AM to 10 PM. If a booking can’t go ahead, the refund follows the cancellation and refund policy.
