When the layout can’t change
Tradition doesn’t ask you to break walls. When a home can’t be rearranged, families hold a Vastu Shanti, usually before moving in.
Questions devotees ask us
Why not sleep with the head to the north?
Tradition advises against it, and it is the one rule most families know. South or east are the favoured directions.
Is a mirror in the bedroom bad?
Vastu only asks that it doesn’t face the bed. A wardrobe mirror on a side wall, or one covered at night, is fine.
