How does Stuti Mandir make its guides? Our team writes them in plain words, dates are calculated for the place named on the page, and prices come from the live catalog. A guide says a pandit reviewed it only when one has.
Who writes and reviews
Our team writes the guides from the Puranas, the epics and standard reference works, in plain words. Pages on rituals are reviewed by Stuti Mandir’s verified pandits. New guides say “Written by the Stuti Mandir team” until a pandit has reviewed them.
How dates and timings are worked out
Tithi, nakshatra, sunrise, Rahu Kalam and muhurat times are calculated from the positions of the Sun and Moon (Lahiri ayanamsa) for the place shown on the page, and checked against Drik Panchang. A date can differ by a day between cities, so we always name the place.
Prices
Prices come from the live catalog at each build, so a page shows what the catalog says. Outside the metros they include the area price. The exact amount is shown before you pay.
What we won’t do
- Promise that a puja or remedy will bring a result
- Publish reviews or ratings that aren’t real
- Publish temple timings we haven’t checked: they change, so we ask you to check with the temple
- Reproduce a translation of scripture without permission: our summaries are written for this site
