Questions devotees ask us
Is this puja performed online or at the temple?
At Vishnupad Mandir. You book and follow it online; the puja itself is performed at the temple by a verified pandit who takes the sankalp in your name.
Do I need to visit the temple?
No. Give the names and gotra for the sankalp when you book, and the pandit performs the puja on your behalf.
Who performs the puja?
A verified Stuti Mandir pandit at Vishnupad Mandir. You will see the pandit’s name in your booking once assigned.
Can I provide my gotra?
Yes — the gotra is part of the sankalp and is asked when you book.
Can I book for my family?
Yes. Choose a package — up to 1 devotees — and add each person’s name.
Will I receive photos and video?
Yes. The pandit uploads photos and a video of your puja to your booking in My Online Pujas.
Is prasad included?
This puja does not include prasad delivery.
Can I choose the date?
Yes — choose any open date above. Dates close when they are full or shortly before the puja.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, up to 24 hours before the puja, from My Online Pujas; the full amount is refunded to your Stuti Mandir wallet.
Do I need to be present?
No. The pandit takes the sankalp with the names and gotra you give, makes the offering at the temple on the chosen date and uploads the photos and video to your booking.
What if I don’t know my gotra?
Choose “Kashyap”, the gotra traditionally used when one’s own is not known.
When can I book?
As soon as dates are open for this offering. If it shows “Opening soon”, tap “Notify me” and we’ll tell you when booking opens.
