What is Lalitha Sahasranama Pooja?
Lalitha Sahasranama Pooja is the worship of Goddess Lalitha Tripura Sundari with her thousand names from the Brahmanda Purana — usually as kumkumarchana, offering kumkum at each name — done on Fridays, Purnima, during Navaratri and for any family prayer to the Devi.
The Lalitha Sahasranama was revealed by Hayagriva to Sage Agastya. Each of the thousand names describes the Devi’s form and grace, and chanting it with kumkumarchana is one of the most powerful forms of Devi worship at home.
